Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Script Analysis ("Script Analysis," "we," "us," or "our") collects when you use our mobile app, web app, and website (together, the "Service"), how we use it, and who we share it with. Script Analysis is developed by Intelligence Limited.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account & Authentication Data

We use Firebase Authentication to manage sign-in. When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication identifiers. Script Analysis shares an identity provider with other apps from Intelligence Limited, so an account created for Script Analysis may also work to sign in to those apps; we do not share your script content, analysis results, or marketplace activity with those other apps.

1.2 Scripts and Content You Submit

When you use our script coverage or idea analysis features, we collect the content you submit — including script text, loglines, treatments, and any files you upload. This content is stored so you can access your submissions and their results, and so the leaderboard and marketplace features can function.

1.3 AI-Generated Analysis Results

We store the coverage reports, scores, and other analysis output generated for your submissions, along with metadata such as submission date and analysis version.

1.4 Subscription & Billing Information

If you subscribe to a paid tier (Lite, Basic, Pro, or Premium), we and our payment processors collect subscription status, purchase history, and billing events. On mobile, purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through RevenueCat, which provides us with subscription status and entitlement data. On the web, purchases are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.

1.5 Marketplace Listings & Messages

If you list a script for sale or browse listings as a producer, we collect the listing details you provide (title, description, pricing/offer terms) and the messages exchanged between writers and producers through our in-app messaging feature. Marketplace transactions that involve payment are processed through Stripe Connect.

1.6 Usage & Device Information

We may collect basic technical information needed to operate the Service, such as device type, app version, and log data generated by normal app and server operation (for example, error logs). We do not use third-party advertising or analytics tracking scripts on this website.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Service, including account access, script submission, AI-powered analysis, the public leaderboard, and the marketplace.
• To generate AI coverage and analysis results by sending your submitted content to our AI processing provider (see Section 3).
• To process subscription and marketplace payments and maintain accurate billing and entitlement records.
• To facilitate communication between writers and producers within the marketplace.
• To maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the Service, including detecting and preventing fraud or abuse.
• To respond to support requests and communicate with you about your account.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate Script Analysis, and only for the purposes described below:

• Firebase / Google Cloud — for authentication, account management, and backend infrastructure.
• Google Gemini API — script and idea content you submit for analysis is sent to Google's Gemini API for AI processing in order to generate coverage reports and scores. This is how the core analysis feature works; content is transmitted for the purpose of generating your results.
• Stripe — to process web-based subscription payments and marketplace transactions (via Stripe Connect), including payouts to writers.
• RevenueCat — to manage and validate mobile in-app purchases and subscription entitlements.
• Apple App Store / Google Play — to process mobile subscription purchases; these platforms have their own privacy policies governing payment data.
• Cloud storage (S3-compatible object storage) — to store uploaded script files and related documents securely.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Script Analysis, our users, or the public, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to affected users where required).

4. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, contact us at hello@scriptanalysis.co. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

You can delete individual script submissions and marketplace listings from within the app. Deleting your account removes your profile and authentication data; some content (such as completed marketplace transactions or messages retained for legal/financial record-keeping) may be retained as described in Section 5.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Script submissions, analysis results, and marketplace listings are retained so you can access your history, unless you delete them or request account deletion. Billing records and transaction history may be retained longer where required for tax, accounting, or legal compliance, even after account deletion.

6. Children's Privacy

Script Analysis is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction, such as 16 in certain regions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@scriptanalysis.co so we can delete it.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted storage and transmission, access controls, and reputable third-party infrastructure providers (Firebase/Google Cloud, Stripe, S3-compatible storage) — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Data Transfers

Our service providers (including Google, Stripe, and RevenueCat) may process and store data in countries other than your own. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer and processing.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the app.
